Government school of Haripudhar in Sirmour became inspiration for other schools of the state

About one hundred and fifty-three boys and girls are studying in Haripudhar State Primary School, a remote area of Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from Sirmaur, children of neighboring Shimla district are also studying in this school.

Krishna Rana, the head teacher of the school, told that from the beginning of the new session, the children are encouraged to come to the school through the chairman of the school and the school management committee. Free facilities are also being provided to the children in the school. Every year whenever admission starts. So first of all the meeting held through SMC, we get our SMC’s prospect etc printed and through that we try to make sure that more and more children get education in this government school because here all the facilities are available free of cost, all kinds of books. , Daptiya, other scholarship and so on.

Other teachers of the school said that education is being imparted to the children in the school through smart class rooms. He said that the walls of the school have been equipped with informative teaching materials. I want this school to be connected with new technology.

Smart class rooms have been prepared in our class room, children are being taught through this and as a result, the enrollment in this school is increasing and every year students are being selected for Navodaya from this school. Along with this, children have also been benefited through a new scheme called middle merit scholarship.

Just last year, two children from our school were successful in middle merit scholarship, due to which they have received forty-eight thousand rupees as the first installment and in the coming seventh grade, they will get sixty thousand and for eighth grade, they will get seventy-two thousand rupees. For a poor family or government school children, it would be a huge amount.

This government primary school in Haripudhar, a remote area of Sirmour district, is becoming a source of inspiration for all the schools in the state. With the help of the teachers and the management committee of the school, people are not only being motivated to send their children to school, but they are also providing good education. By giving, the future of the children is also being made bright.
