G20 Summit 2023 : G-20 summit successfully concluded in New Delhi | India hands over presidency of G-20 to Brazil
The eighteenth G20 Summit under the chairmanship of India has been successfully concluded in New Delhi. In this conference, India has handed over the presidency of G 20 to Brazil. In the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally handed over the hammer, the symbol of the presidency of G 20, to Brazilian President Luiz Incio Lula da Silva. Accordingly, the Prime Minister expressed hope that Brazil Under the chairmanship of G 20, G 20 will be able to achieve the common goals. He also proposed that a year and session of the group be organized at the end of November to review the issues decided in this summit.

It is our responsibility to look at the suggestions that have come once again to see how their progress can be accelerated. .I propose that we hold another virtual session of G 20 at the end of November. In that session we can review the topics decided during this summit.

He stressed the need to tackle issues like inequality in health care, education and food. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the third session on the second and final day of the G 20 summit on a future theme in Delhi. India’s G Chief Coordinator for the 20 Chairmanship, Harsh Vardhan Shukla said that the inclusion of the African Union in the G 20 during the summit and the acceptance of the New Delhi Declaration is a big achievement for India.
