23 Made In Himachal Medicines Samples Failed
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Baddi(Solan), March 21: Samples of 58 medicines from across the country, including 23 for pain relievers, cancer, allergy, cough syrup and bacterial infection, made in Himachal Pradesh, failed. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) had taken 676 samples in the month of February. Pain medicine Aseptic of Nexchem Biotech Company of Baddi, infection medicine Amoxilin of Laborate Pharma of Paonta, Calcium and Vitamin D-3 of Hanuchem Laboratory of Parwanoo, anesthesia medicine Propofol Injection of Protech Telelinks of Kala Amb, Cancer medicine LS Preganiz of Vita Drug located at Kharuni Baddi, Ronam Health Care’s Amikacin Injection for Bacterial Infections, Pain injection from Ang Pharma of Baddi’s Malku Majra and high blood pressure medicine Telmi Sartan from Kishanpura-based Glenmark, Cefedoxime Proxitil, a drug for bacterial infection of Magnatech company, Tranexamic injection to stop bleeding from teeth of Sunvit Health Care of Sirmour, Baddi’s Sun Pharmaceutical’s skin infection medicine Miconazole Nitrate Did not meet the standards.

Apart from this, Samples of the medicine of Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D-3 of Kangra’s Rachil Pharma, Ofloxacin Orindazole, The infection medicine of Biologics Inc. Company located in Saketi Kala Amb, Cough syrup of Cestol Remedies, Bronter cough syrup of MC Pharmaceutical of Paonta, MC Pharmaceutical’s allergy medicine Levocitrazine, Amroxol cough syrup of Magma Allies Company, Amroxol cough syrup of Secure Pharmaceutical Company, Bofin Biotech’s cough medicine Amroxol, Tirupati Medicare Ltd’s Allergy Medicine Montelukast Sodium and Lyocitrazine, Una’s Span Formulation Company’s dry cough medicine Exporus D Syrup, Allergy medicine Levocitrazine of Span Formulation, Cough syrup of Roseate Medicare Company of Badog, Solan have failed. Drug controller Manish Kapoor said that the concerned companies have been asked to withdraw their medicines from the market.
