Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party Himachal Pradesh Mahila Morcha, Dr. Seema Thakur, in a press conference in the capital Shimla, has attacked the ruling Sukhu government of Congress for ignoring the safety of women in Himachal Pradesh and deteriorating law and order situation.
Dr. Seema Thakur made a strong attack and said that on Saturday, on the stairs of Palampur bus stand in the largest Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, a crazy lover attacked the daughter of Naloh village of Sullah with a darat kept in a bag and The teams of Palampur police station were sleeping soundly at a distance of 150 meters.
Also, Dr. Seema Thakur said that the Sukhu government of Congress has scattered the law and order like a deck of cards in its tenure of just fifteen months.
Seema Thakur said that whether it is Manohar murder case in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, misbehavior with a woman in CM’s home district Hamirpur, rape of a minor 9-year-old girl by a temple guard in Chamba district, the police is sleeping in all the cases.
Seema Thakur said that today corruption is happening in the entire Himachal Pradesh, murder and rape are increasing every day.
She said that a 50-year-old elderly woman of Gadiyada Panchayat under Bhawarna police station of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh was murdered in broad daylight and her body was thrown on the roadside. Marks of attack with sharp weapons were also found on the neck and other parts of the body of the deceased woman. Later it was revealed that a 50-year-old elderly woman was murdered by slitting her throat with a paper cutter in Gadiyada Gram Panchayat of Sullah Assembly constituency of kangra district.
Seema Thakur said that a poor young man working in a fast food restaurant in front of the reporting room of Shimla Police on Mall Road in the capital Shimla was painfully murdered with a sharp machete and the Shimla Police administration was not even opening the gate.
Seema Thakur said that today no youth, women, children or elderly people are safe under the 15 month old Congress government. She mainly raised the issue of women’s safety and said that today so much atrocities are taking place that it has become difficult for women to go out of the house.
