Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has hit back at Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur’s attack on Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sundar Singh Thakur being surrounded in the House during the discussion on the budget. Earlier, Jairam Thakur said that it is wrong to say that the present government has repaired the Bhootnath bridge of Mandi. He said that Sundar Singh Thakur should think carefully about this bridge. Bhoothnath bridge is double lane. They are talking about fixing it, but it is stuck. Big vehicles are not going on this Bhoothnath bridge. He said that Sundar Singh Thakur stands on the bridge every day. Jairam Thakur said that as per the policy brought by the government for the Beas river after the natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh, the machines have been unloaded. The river has been uprooted. Earlier, while taking part in the discussion on the budget, Sundar Singh Thakur said that the present government has repaired the Bhootnath bridge. Earlier its condition was not good. Various schemes in CM Sukhu’s budget to reach the last man: Sundar Singh
Participating in the discussion on the budget, Kullu MLA Sunder Singh Thakur said that the budget presented by Chief Minister Sukhu has various schemes to reach the last man. Criteria set for allotting work to contractors: Vikramaditya
Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that criteria have been set for allotting work to contractors. The amount of work is allotted to the contractors according to their category. Four classes A, B, C and D have been created to allocate the work. A class contractors can take work of any limit, while B class contractors can take work up to Rs 500 lakh, C class contractors can take work up to Rs 200 lakh and D class contractors can take work up to Rs 50 lakh. PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh has given this information in written reply to the question asked by BJP MLA Balveer Singh.
Budget reflects Chief Minister’s thinking of self-reliance himachal: Pathania
Congress MLA from Shahpur assembly constituency Kewal Singh Pathania said that the kind of provisions made by Chief Minister Sukhu in the budget is Ram Rajya. The budget reflects the Chief Minister’s thinking of self-reliance Himachal. This is a system changing budget. During the natural disaster, former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar himself has praised Sukhu for the disaster relief work. BJP had also talked about bringing black money from abroad, providing employment to two crore people in a year and doubling the income of farmers.

A huge tragedy has occurred in Himachal Pradesh. There has also been a lot of damage in Drang area.
Many types of provisions in the budget for Gagret area: Chaitanya
Congress MLA from Gagret assembly constituency Chaitanya Sharma said that many schemes of his assembly constituency have been included in the budget. Many provisions have been made in this budget for Gagret assembly constituency. He has urged to make a special policy for temporary employees.

In terms of admission of students, undergraduate and postgraduate programs are being run in the university. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has given this information in a written reply to a question asked by BJP MLA Pawan Kajal. The Chief Minister said that there are no seats reserved for Other Backward Classes in the Bachelor of Law Program (five-year). There is a provision of 27 percent reservation for Other Backward Classes in the Post Graduate Law Program (one year). The issue of reservation in the Bachelor of Law Program (five-year) has been taken up by the State Government through the National Law University before the Council of India and the High Court.
