After a long silence, his rebellious attitude has started becoming visible. On Wednesday, sitting among the supporters gathered at his residence, he brainstormed on the future strategy. He expressed his anger over Sudhir’s entry and ticket into the party. Former CM Jairam was also taken to task. The harsh attitude of MP Kishan Kapoor, a five-time MLA and two-time minister, may increase the tension in the BJP in the times to come.

On ticket being canceled and rebel Sudhir being made a candidate by making entry, he said that there is no problem in ticket being canceled. But, they would have been talked to. An answer will also be sought as to why the name of the sitting MP from Himachal Pradesh was not sent to the panel. Expressing strong opposition to the high command’s decision regarding Sudhir, he said that this cannot be acceptable. In 2019, Pawan Kajal was defeated by record votes. Airport expansion was my main issue in the elections and Kajal continued to oppose it staunchly. The party embraced him without consulting me. Even in the 2022 elections, the party, without consultation, gave the ticket from Dharamshala constituency to a person who had not even taken membership of the party. I remained silent even then.
This time again an attempt is being made to install such a person at the head of the old BJP leaders who has been harassing party workers. The tenure of Sudhir Sharma, who carried out lathi charge on the Gaddi community from 2012 to 2017, was one of fear and hooliganism in Dharamshala. BJP people and voters of Dharamshala are hurt by the decision to embrace him.

Also raising questions on former CM Jairam Thakur, he said that Kangra was getting step-motherly treatment from 2017 to 2022. Efforts were made to run the politics of the Kangra district through remote control from Mandi. All possibilities are open regarding by-elections. The next step will be revealed soon.
