• Chapchar Kut: Well, this spring festival is also known as the most important festival of Mizoram. This festival occur after the Jhum cultivation. Talking about the age, in this both young and old all participate in this festival with an equal joy and energy.


• Mim Kut: This festival is also called as the Maize Festival in Mizoram. This mim kut festival usually celebrated during the month of August and September. During this festival singing, dance, food making are some of the most common features which usually people enjoy during this time. It is considered to be one of the most colourful festival in Mizoram at the same time this festival is also people pay there tributes to the deadly soul in the form of wine that is naturally made from rice at there house.


• Christmas Festival: The most important festival of Mizoram which is celebrate in the end of the year in the month of December which is considered to be the most busy month and along with the best holidays especially for the kids. During this festival prayers and worship are held at different-different churches all across the state.


Cuisine:


Well, apart from its culture, festivals, songs, dance and its tradition. Mizoram is also famous for its food which is seen as a mixture of both north India and Chinese and yes, the combination of these make the food of this place unique. The best part of Mizoram is the food here is serve in a different way as compare to the other states of India. In Mizoram food is serve in banana leaves which is a proper culture of Mizoram from a very long time, and don’t forget to include fish in their meal which is the main part of there food.


Main Cuisine of Mizoram: Some of the main dishes of Mizoram are called as ‘Bai’ which is cooked with the combination of several herbs with some beans. Other than this the other dish is ‘Rep’ which is a smoked meat mixed with flavours of spicy chilies, the local herbs and fresh green leaves. Apart from this the famous drinks of Mizoram are one is the ‘Ju’ is a kind of a local tea of Mizoram which mostly people like to drink it with the food.
