Apart from this, he announced to provide adequate funds for Martyr Memorial in Palampur, Installation of MRI machine and operation theater in Palampur Hospital, Sewerage scheme for the Palampur city, expansion of OBC building and Palampur bus stand. CM Sukhu also announced construction of railway overbridge on Badehad-Patti road, construction of Lingti Khad-Nagri Manimahesh road, Construction of Nagni to Lasedu Chimbalhar bridge and Railway overbridge near Rajpur Goswami Ganesh Dutt College.

Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that in future more funds will be spent to promote tourism activities in Palampur area, the blueprint for which is being prepared and the scenario of Palampur is going to change in the coming times. He said that since the formation of the Congress government in the state, the development of Kangra district has been a special priority and many plans are being made in this direction. Kangra Airport is being expanded to promote tourism. The Chief Minister said that during the Rajya Sabha elections, six Congress MLAs rebelled and cross-voted. Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that during the tenure of 15 months, the present government successfully faced the challenges posed by economic and disaster. The state government achieved additional revenue of Rs 2200 crore by closing the doors of corruption. He said that without any political benefit, the present state government restored the old pension scheme for 1.36 lakh government employees in the very first cabinet meeting. Whereas the Central Government imposed many financial restrictions on providing old pension. He said that as soon as the BJP government was formed in Rajasthan, the old pension scheme implemented during the Congress tenure was taken away by snatching away the rights of the government employees. He said that the Central Government did not provide any special package to Himachal Pradesh to deal with the disaster, whereas the State Government provided a special relief package of Rs 4500 crore from its limited resources to resettle each disaster affected house.

On this occasion, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Kishori Lal, MLA Sanjay Ratan, former Assembly Speaker Brij Bihari Lal Butail, Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative and Rural Development Bank Chairman Sanjay Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa and other dignitaries were present.
