Sirmour News – Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has said that BJP leaders should work together and make meaningful efforts in the Chandigarh issue.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has said that BJP leaders should take up the issue of Himachal’s share in Chandigarh with the Central Government and make meaningful efforts to resolve it so that the state gets its right.
In an informal interaction with the media at Nadaun rest house in Sirmour district yesterday, the Chief Minister, while reacting to the statement of the Leader of Opposition, said that he should work unitedly by adopting a comprehensive approach in the interest of the state.
Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Haryana is also demanding more water from Kisav and Renukaji dams. And mutual discussions are on to resolve the matter amicably.
During this, the Chief Minister also listened to the complaints of the people in Nadaun. Later, the Chief Minister along with his family visited the holy Pindi of Mata Chintpurni and offered prayers.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government is fully committed to the development of Chintpurni temple and no shortcoming will be allowed in the development of all religious places. Responding to a question regarding the Severage project, the Chief Minister said that the work on the project is underway and it will soon be dedicated to the local people. Today is the third day of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s visit to Hamirpur. During this, he will dedicate various development schemes to the people.
