The Public Works Department has so far estimated a loss of more than Rs 20 crore 21 lakh due to collapse of various roads in Teesa Mandal of Chamba district.
Due to heavy rains during monsoon in the state, there has been huge damage to government and private property.
Due to the breakdown of various roads in Teesa Division of Chamba district, the Public Works Department has so far estimated a loss of more than Rs 20 crore 21 lakh.
Public Works Jogendra Kumar, Executive Engineer of Teesa Division of the department, said that the report of the damage has been sent by the department to the Chamba district administration so that budget provision can be made in time and the damaged roads can be repaired and restored.
In our Teesa division, there has been a loss of approximately twenty crore twenty one lakh rupees in this rainy season.
We have restored it by deploying JCB from time to time and all the roads are running smoothly at this time and till now.
Some Railings Valve are also to be done in which some tenders are to be made and tenders are being made.
All that we have and all that Tisa Division has is just Connected Roads.
