Chamba News : Anjubala, head of Gram Panchayat Sunara of Chamba, set an example by rescuing people trapped in Lamdal
Chamba News : In this hour of natural calamity in the state, where the government is engaged in providing relief to the people, there are some people who have come forward to save precious lives without caring for their lives.
One such example has been set by Anjubala, the head of gram panchayat Sunara of Chamba district, who rescued three people who were trapped due to heavy rains in Chamba’s Lamdal last days.
For the courage of Anjubala, she and other members of her team were honored by Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar on the occasion of Independence Day.
On this occasion, Anjubala told that on July 9, many difficulties had to be faced in rescuing the stranded people in Lumdal. But with the help of her team members, this task was successfully accomplished.
He said – I have played my own role in the rescue of the three boys who were trapped. As soon as I came to know that those three boys are trapped in the Lamdal Nala, I called two to four people to my house through phone and made preparations to go there. And on July 9, we reached there and brought those three boys back safely from there.
