Himachal Pradesh DGP Sanjay Kundu on Saturday reached the Bilaspur District hospital to meet former MLA and State Congress General Secretary Bumber Thakur and inquired about his well-being.
During this, DGP Sanjay Kundu said that seven accused who attacked Bumber Thakur have been arrested by Bilaspur Police. Whereas all the other accused will also be arrested soon.

DGP Sanjay Kundu said that due to the HP assembly session, he cannot say much on this whole matter.
CM Sukhu himself will give this information in the session. DGP Sanjay Kundu held a meeting with bilaspur administrative officials regarding the whole incident and then visited the incident site.

Let us tell you that on Friday, some youth had fatally attacked former MLA and State Congress General Secretary Bumber Thakur in the office of the company which is constructing the railway line near Mandi Bharari adjacent to Bilaspur city.
Both his sons were also beaten up. Bumber Thakur was seriously injured in the fight. He is undergoing treatment in the district hospital. On receiving the complaint, a case was registered against 11 accused under various sections including attempt to murder in Sadar police station.
