Bilaspur: 40 People Got Anti-Rabies Injections for Serving fake Dog food in Himachali Dham

Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Ghumarwin, March 03: Due to rumors being spread by the villagers, 40 people have got rabies injections in Bari village of Padayalag Gram Panchayat under Bharari police station of Ghumarwin sub-division of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.
According to the information about the entire matter, a program of Dham was organized in Bari village a few days ago. During the programme, a rumor was spread from somewhere that the sweets that had been prepared in the Dham to feed the people had been spoiled by a dog coming from outside. After that the same Dham was served to forty people during the program in Bari village.
The organizer had also questioned the cooks about the entire matter, but the cooks said that the dog had come, but had been chased away. The cooks had not allowed any vegetables to come to the dog, but there is no cure for delusion. People took the entire issue seriously and reached Dadhol PHC to get anti-rabies injection. Meanwhile, there was an atmosphere of tension between the villagers of Bari and the doctor. Teams of Bharari police station reached the spot and pacified the matter.

Bari villagers said that Dadhol PHC doctors are saying that a health camp will be organized in village Bari and anti-rabies injections will be given there. But after so many days have passed since the entire incident, neither any anti-rabies injection nor any camp has been organized by Dadhol PHC.
Dr. Monal of Dadhol PHC told that the entire matter happened on Saturday. A person of Bari village came to the OPD and started arguing about anti-rabies injection, although no misbehavior was done to him. Although rabies is spread through nerves, 40 people have been given anti-rabies injections as a precaution.
On the other hand, Bharari police station in-charge says that the entire matter is being investigated.
