Charas smuggler with Solan police team

Solan District Police Administration Superintendent Gaurav Singh, while addressing the press conference, said that on Thursday, May 9, the Special Cell of Solan Police had recovered 1 kg of hashish from the accused Harjeet Singh in Dharampur Road. The accused was identified as Harjeet Singh, District Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. It was also found that the accused Harjeet Singh is a big mastermind of drug smuggling, And a case was also found against the accused Harjeet Singh for smuggling more than 100 kg of poppy husk under the NDPS Act in the state of Haryana.
Then the entire case was linked again with the evidence by the Solan Police and a thorough investigation was carried out and it was concluded that 1 kg of hashish was recovered from the accused Harjeet Singh which is in Kandaghat Lab for sampling.
A big deal of the same charas is going to be made with drug smugglers in Anni area of Kullu district, only after that this charas will be sent outside Himachal for supply to Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Goa.
After that, a 19-member team of Special Dictation Cell and Dharampur Police Station was formed by Solan Police to nab the biggest gang of drug smuggling. The command of the entire team was handed over to probationer Abhishek Kaundal.
After that, a 19-member team went out in the forest on a dark night with the help of tracking and achieved great success by arresting the main accused and 36 kg of charas from a big deal hideout in Anni area.
With the previous one kg charas recovered, now a total of 37 kg hashish and two main accused have also been caught.
Solan District Police Administration Superintendent said that the entire operation continued for 29 hours. Gaurav Singh praised the nineteen-member team and said that investigation has been started and all the drug smugglers are going to be caught together.
