According to the information, the incident took place near Karuru Nala where the Bolero Camper (HP 92-0989) met with an accident and the person traveling in it, Mani Ram, son of Ram Lal Village Threuwa, Kullu, an outsourced employee of the Electricity Board, died on the spot. At the time of the accident, there were 9 people traveling in the Bolero camper, out of which one died and 8 were injured.

The injured were identified as Anuj Kumar, Junior Engineer Electricity Board Jagatkhana, Kundan Lal Foreman Jagatkhana, Ranveer Foreman Jagatkhana, Jai Prakash Lineman Jagatkhana, Pratap Lineman Jagatkhana, Arun Kumar Lineman, Malkiat Singh Lineman and Driver Dinesh Kumar son of Bhogi Ram Village and Post Office Toonan, Tehsil Nirmand, Kullu district.

The body of the deceased has been recovered from the spot by the local police under the leadership of police station in-charge Bro. All the injured have been sent to Khanairi Hospital for treatment. The above case has been registered under section 279, 337, 304 (A) of IPC in police station Bro. The causes of the accident are being investigated.
