Garlic bulbous flowering plant. It is a very important food flavoring agent. It is a basic ingredient of various dishes. India produces 28 million tons of annual garlic production. It is traditionally used as a medicine and helps in the improvement of the immune system.

The production of pulses covers the entire arid region of the country. The top producer of pulses in the country is Madhya Pradesh. The states contribute to 24% of the overall production of pulses. The other states that add to the production of pulses are Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. 

  • LENTILS

It is an edible legume. India is one of the top producers of lentils in the world. It is an annual plant that can be grown anywhere and anytime. Lentils have a large variety based on their size and color.
