America does not want ceasefire in Russia-Ukraine war: Foreign Minister said- Ukraine will not be able to compromise on its terms
America is not in favor of ceasefire between Russia-Ukraine war. Foreign Minister Antony Blinken said that America and its allies should not talk about ceasefire or peace talks right now. Ukraine is not yet in a position to negotiate its terms and until that happens, it will not be protected by the ceasefire.
Antony Blinken, who went on a tour of Finland, said – We believe that in order to really bring peace, a Ukraine is needed which will be able to respond to any future attacks. If there is a ceasefire now, it will give Russian President Putin a chance to control those areas of Ukraine where he has occupied now. Also, he will get time to prepare for the attack again.
Blinken said that Russia has occupied about 20% of Ukraine. In the event of ceasefire, this area will go under their jurisdiction. This will not be the right message to the world and especially to Russia. Along with this, the countries which are preparing for future attacks will get further boost. The US Secretary of State said that we will have to wait until Ukraine pushes Russia out of its limits.
