Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami says, “Char Dham Yatra began from Yamunotri Dham today

The Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand is starting from Akshaya Tritiya on 22 April 2023. The rituals to be performed before the opening of the kapat started in the morning. During this, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “Under the Char Dham Yatra, the doors of Gangotri-Yamunotri Dham are being opened today on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. After this, the doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on April 25 and Badrinath Dham on April 27. CM Dhami said that the first worship of the opening of the doors was done by PM Narendra Modi. Ever since he became the PM, there has been an increase in Sanatan culture, religious places and pilgrimages. All this has happened under his leadership. And is the supreme devotee of Lord Shiva.

Earlier on Friday, Baba Kedarnath’s Panchmukhi Utsav Doli left for Himalayas after winter stay in Ukhimath. Thousands of devotees have reached Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath on this occasion. Baba’s doli reached Gupt Kashi Vishwanath temple on Friday for the first night stay. The additional stoppage of this Bardoli is being done at Guptkashi. The doli will reach Kedarnath on 24 April.
