Haryana-Patwari committed forgery: showing the names of different people.

In Haryana’s Jind, a case has come to the notice of Naib Tehsildar forging signatures on the compensation distribution list and by depositing the compensation amount in the same bank account in the name of different people by the Patwari of the Revenue Department. On the complaint of Naib Tehsildar, Uchana police station has registered a case against Patwari Sunny of Revenue Department under various sections including cheating.

Naib Tehsildar of Julana told in the complaint given to Uchana police station that he has additional charge of Uchana tehsil as well. Irregularities are being done in the compensation amount being distributed in Uchana by Patwari Sunny of Revenue Department. A preliminary inquiry by them found that Sunny had forged his signature on the compensation lists.

Along with this, it was also found in the investigation that by showing the names of different persons, the compensation amount was deposited in the same bank account. Illegal work has been done by Sunny, but it also seems to be embezzlement of government money.

Embezzlement along with other irregularities in compensation disbursement amount cannot be ruled out. Station in-charge Atmaram said that the complaint of Naib Tehsildar has started investigation by registering a case of embezzlement and fraud against Patwari Sunny of Revenue Department.
