IIT Mandi’s TIH to Host Workshop on Hybrid No-Code AI Agents in Collaboration with Nagent AI

Responding to the surging demand for artificial intelligence, IIT Mandi has taken a significant step towards advancing AI adoption. The institute’s Technology Innovation Hub (TIH), in collaboration with Nagent AI, has announced the launch of a Hybrid No-Code AI Agent course. The aim is to equip working professionals with the skills to build powerful AI agents—without requiring coding expertise.

TIH CEO Somajit Amrit said the course is limited to just 30 seats. Spanning 23 hours, it will include both online modules and in-person campus immersion at IIT Mandi. Participants will gain exposure to hundreds of cutting-edge AI models, RAG pipelines, and tools through Nagent AI.

He added that this is India’s first simple, hands-on workshop designed to give professionals a practical roadmap for adopting agentic AI. The initiative caters to the growing enterprise need for fast, ROI-driven AI agent deployment and helps mid-sized firms overcome the lack of in-house expertise.

AI skills gap and market growth
Citing recent data, Amrit noted that India is expected to face a shortage of over 1 million AI professionals by 2027, even as AI job opportunities are projected to reach 2.3 million—with demand currently exceeding supply by 51%. Meanwhile, the no-code AI platform market is forecast to grow from $4.9 billion in 2024 to $24.8 billion by 2029.

Curriculum and mission
Nagent AI Co-founder and CEO Pratap Behera said the jointly developed curriculum covers agent orchestration, multi-agent collaboration, agentic prompting, no-code RAG, and more.
