Prakash Raj: Prakash Raj reacted on Kiccha Sudeep’s support to BJP, said – I am shocked and hurt
Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep on Wednesday (April 5) announced that he would support Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in the upcoming assembly elections. However, he also made it clear that he would continue working in films and would not enter politics. While addressing the media, the actor said that he has known Bommai since childhood and he used to call him Mama.
Prakash Raj’s reaction has come to the fore on this decision of the actor. Speaking to news agency ANI, he said that he is shocked and hurt by Sudeep’s decision to support the BJP in the 2023 assembly elections.
Let us tell you that earlier Prakash had given his reaction on social media on a tweet of a news channel and said, “I am sure that someone has spread this fake news after seeing BJP losing in Karnataka.” Kiccha Sudeep is a more sensible citizen, he will not become a victim.
Kichcha has also replied to his tweet, “The actor said that he is a wonderful artist. I worked with him in the film Ranna. Also, I am looking forward to work with him on another project. I have decided not to enter politics. This is the wish of my fans. This is a decision taken only on humanitarian grounds.
Talking about the work front, Kiccha was recently seen in the film Capture. His film has not got any special response at the box office. On the other hand, talking about his upcoming project, the actor will soon be seen in Rohan Bopanna. Significantly, the assembly elections in Karnataka are going to be held on May 10. At the same time, its results will come after three days i.e. on 13 May.
