Dream Realised: Baijnath Youth Selected for Himachal Pradesh Police Service
Bringing pride to his village and the entire Baijnath region, Abhishek Kapur, a resident of Sansal Mehad village, has been selected for the Himachal Pradesh Police Service in the recently declared state civil services examination results.
Bringing pride to his village and the entire Baijnath region, Abhishek Kapur, a resident of Sansal Mehad village, has been selected for the Himachal Pradesh Police Service in the recently declared state civil services examination results.
Abhishek’s success story is particularly inspiring as he completed his entire schooling in government educational institutions. He studied up to Class X at Government Senior Secondary School, Sansal, and passed Class XII from Government Senior Secondary School, Beed. He later completed his graduation from the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamsala.
Hailing from a modest background, Abhishek nurtured the dream of joining the administrative and police services from an early age. With consistent hard work, disciplined preparation and strong family support, he cleared the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HPAS) examination in his very first attempt, a rare achievement that has earned him widespread appreciation across the region.
Sharing his thoughts on the achievement, Abhishek credited the success to the guidance and encouragement of his parents Tilak Raj and Gitan Devi, along with the academic support provided by the Swami Ramanand Charitable Trust, Sansal, after his Class X education. “Without the blessings of my parents and the support of my teachers and the trust, this achievement would not have been possible,” he said.
Abhishek’s father, Tilak Raj, who runs a small shop in the village, expressed immense pride in his son’s accomplishment. “Abhishek always aspired to serve society through administrative and police services. Today, his dream has come true,” he said.
The news of Abhishek’s selection has sparked celebrations in Sansal Mehad and neighbouring villages. Local residents, teachers and social organisations have congratulated him, calling his success a source of inspiration for rural students preparing for competitive examinations despite limited resources.
Rajesh Sharma, General Secretary of the Swami Ramanand Charitable Trust, Sansal, said Abhishek had been hardworking, disciplined and focused since his school days. “He always stood out for his commitment, sincerity and clarity of purpose,” he remarked.
