Himachal Pradesh-The multi tasker workers appointed in the state government schools in the previous government will not be regularized
The multi tasker workers appointed in the state government schools in the previous government will not be regularized in the present government. This information was given by Education Minister Rohit Thakur in a question asked by Nachan MLA Vinod Kumar in the House. 6717 part time multitask workers have been appointed by the education department in the state. These multitask workers are serving in different schools. He said that there is no hike in their salary this year and also the government does not have any idea about appointing these multi task workers.
It may be noted that Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, who became the Chief Minister in the new government, has formed a committee regarding this, in which a record has been sought as to under which rules multitask workers have been recruited in the schools. In such a situation, the government can take any decision on these recruitments. The BJP government has given orders to appoint eight thousand multitask workers in the schools of the state and multitask workers have already been appointed in about 50 percent of the schools. Even when these recruitments were taking place, the matter had gone to the High Court. The Jairam government had to change the policy midway.
