District Magistrate orders closure of all educational institutions; staff asked to conduct classes online from home

Continuous rainfall since Sunday night triggered multiple landslides in Solan district, severely disrupting daily life. Water and electricity supplies have been hit, and as many as 68 roads remain blocked.
Following a heavy to very heavy rainfall warning issued by the Meteorological Department on Monday, the District Magistrate ordered all educational institutions to remain closed and directed staff to conduct online classes from home.
