Shimla, July 11:
Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL), through its Reckong Peo/Spillo and Integrated Kashang Hydroelectric Project, is inviting applications for its merit-based scholarship scheme. The last date to submit applications is July 15, 2025.

This information was shared by Abhishek Barwal, Executive Assistant Commissioner of Kinnaur. He informed that this exclusive scholarship scheme is meant for students belonging to major or general project-affected families who are currently pursuing education through the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education or any other recognized board.

The scholarship is open to students from Class 6 to Class 12, as well as those pursuing ITI, engineering diplomas, computer diplomas, pharmacy, MBBS, and other science-related courses. The financial assistance will be awarded strictly on the basis of academic merit, with the aim of supporting bright students in their educational journey.

The Executive Assistant Commissioner further clarified that no applications will be accepted after July 15, and therefore, all eligible students are advised to submit their applications along with the required documents before the deadline. He urged both parents and students to make the most of this opportunity by ensuring timely completion of the application process.

This scholarship initiative not only aims to provide financial aid to meritorious students but also seeks to empower children from project-affected families, encouraging them to pursue a brighter and more secure future.
