Shimla, June 24:
The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has announced the results of the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Allied Services (Main) Examination-2023. The list of successful candidates has been released based on merit, document verification, and the preferences indicated for various posts.

As per the official notification, candidates recommended for appointment to various departments will only be formally inducted once their documents are verified and cleared by the state government.

In a significant update during the selection process, the State Election Department has withdrawn five posts of Election Kanungo, which included three unreserved posts, one under the UR-WFF (Ward of Freedom Fighter) category, and one under the Scheduled Caste category.

The Commission has also clarified that three posts remain vacant:

  • One post of Assistant State Taxes & Excise Officer (SC-WFF category)

  • One post of Assistant State Taxes & Excise Officer (OBC-WFF category)

  • One post of Inspector (Audit), Cooperative Societies (UR-WFF category)
    These posts could not be filled due to the non-availability of candidates meeting the minimum qualifying marks.

The complete list of selected candidates is available on the Commission’s official website www.hppsc.hp.gov.in. Additionally, the result has been displayed on the notice board at the HPPSC office.

The Commission has advised all selected candidates to keep their original certificates and educational documents ready for verification. Failure to provide valid documentation may lead to cancellation of the appointment.
