“Ghar-Ghar, Mandal-Mandal Tiranga Yatra” to be Held Across Himachal from May 14 to 23
Shimla, May 13:
A statewide campaign titled “Ghar-Ghar, Mandal-Mandal Tiranga Yatra” will be conducted across Himachal Pradesh from May 14 to 23. This was announced on Monday by BJP State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma during a press conference in Shimla. He informed that the yatra is being organized by the Citizens for National Security foundation, with the Bharatiya Janata Party extending its support.
Sharma emphasized that the yatra is a social initiative aimed at encouraging participation from all sections of society. Its primary objective is to pay tribute to India’s spirit of service, particularly honoring the brave soldiers who displayed exceptional courage and valour during wars with Pakistan and forced the enemy to retreat.
The Tiranga Yatra will take place in a phased manner across various districts and mandals of the state. Major district-level events are scheduled as follows:

Additionally, the yatra will be held in 33 mandals across the state. Key events will take place on:

May 19 – Solan, Kullu, Kutlehar, Jaswan Pragpur, Pachhad, and Chamba

May 20 – Doon, Nahan, Dehra, Bilaspur, and Banjar

May 21 – Nalagarh, Haroli, Ghumarwin, Jawalamukhi, Churah, and Kinnaur

May 22 – Kasauli, Chintpurni, Naina Devi, Ani, and Bhattiyat
-
May 23 – Shillai, Renuka Ji, Gagret, Jhanduta, Bharmour, and Lahaul-Spiti
The campaign will also involve participation from various civil society groups, including local business associations, NGOs, student unions, women’s and youth groups, religious organizations, and social platforms. The yatra aims to foster patriotism and community spirit through the symbolic presence of the national flag across the state.
