(Solan) Himachal Pradesh, Kumud Sharma, January 23: The largest industrial Panchayat of Doon constituency, Bhatoli Kalan, has opened a front against the industries spreading pollution.

The Panchayat has also clearly said that if no action is taken against the industries exposed by the officials of the Pollution Control Board, then the Panchayat will also stand in court against the officials.

It is alleged that many industries in Gram Panchayat Bhatoli Kalan are openly spreading pollution, due to which the environment of the entire Panchayat is getting spoiled and no action is being taken by the officials regarding this.

Kamal Gyani, former Pradhan told Diary Times, “The issue is about people’s health because these are our Panchayats, our homes. All of them are our own people. These big people, industrialists, they only spread pollution here. They live in Chandigarh. This polluted water goes into the ground and we, our children, we are the ones who are drinking it. So if something happens that they play this game of notices, then we, along with our villagers and our Panchayat, will knock the doors of the High Court and through RTI, this information will be sought from the pollution department about what action they have taken against them.”
