Baddi: The young and talented writer Shagun Ranot from Raipur Jakhauli (Panga) village, located in the Gram Panchayat of Nandpur in Himachal Pradesh’s Doon region, has achieved a remarkable milestone. Her story titled “Noble Revenge” has been included in the book “Blooming Quills,” which features 51 stories written by children and is published by Keekli Charitable Trust.
Shagun shared that the Keekli Charitable Trust had organized a nationwide story writing competition, where her story was selected as one of the best among numerous entries. She expressed her gratitude to the entire team of Keekli Charitable Trust, with a special mention to Vandana Bhagra, for their support.
In addition to this achievement, Shagun revealed that her love for writing has been nurtured over the years. Her first book was published in Wonderful Stories, and she is currently working on her upcoming book, which will soon be available for readers.
Shagun credited her father, Amar Singh Ranot, a lecturer in Economics in the Department of Education, for his unwavering support in her writing journey. Moreover, she found inspiration in the form of Professor Ranjodh, a renowned litterateur, who continuously guides and motivates her in her literary pursuits.
Shagun’s inclusion in “Blooming Quills” is a testament to her growing talent, and it marks an exciting step in her journey as a writer.
