Meenakshi Nevatia New MD Of PFIZER

On 9th February, Pfizer announced Meenakshi Nevatia as the new Additional Director and Managing Director for five years from April 3, 2023. 

• Pfizer is a famous drug-making company known development of various vaccines all over the world. 
• Earlier the President of Pfizer for India was S. Sridha. But the early announcement of his retirement by him in August 2022, led Pfizer to choose Meenakshi to take his place. 
• The US drug-making company’s board, on Thursday, announced, S. Sridha was to be taken down from the position of MD by 31st March 2023. 

Meenakshi Nevatia will be the new Indian MD of the company, helping to compete in the Indian market. She has 30 years of experience across various companies including McKinsey & Co., Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and Stryker Corporation.
