Hamirpur: Accused of raping a minor girl gets 5-day police remand
Bhoranj police station in-charge Nirmal Singh confirmed the case and said that the court has sent the accused on police remand till September 17.
Hamirpur, September 13: The accused of raping a minor girl in Jharlog of Bhoranj police station of the district was presented in Hamirpur court on Friday. The court has sent the accused youth on police remand till September 17 (Tuesday). Due to the incident, people of Bhoranj subdivision are very angry with the youth.
It is noteworthy that a 20-year-old youth of Kotlu village of Nandhan Panchayat committed the crime on Wednesday night at around 12:30. The girl was found in a suspicious condition in the room. On being caught, the accused youth was beaten up badly. Police got the medical examination of both the minor girl and the youth done and started investigation. The accused is being interrogated intensively after the court gave police remand till September 17.
