Physical teachers roared outside the assembly
Shimla, August 28: The unemployed physical teachers association, which has been looking for a job for the last 7 years, staged a sit-in protest at Chaura Maidan on the second day of the monsoon session of the assembly. The teachers who were heading towards the assembly were stopped by the police at Chaura Maidan itself. Due to which there was a mild scuffle between the teachers and the police. The physical teachers are demanding to start the recruitment for 870 posts which are pending.
The protesting physical teachers say that they have been demanding recruitment for seven years. People who are protesting peacefully are being stopped from meeting the CM. The government is not ready to listen to them. The level of education in the state is falling. The state has become a laggard in sports competitions.
Due to the neglect of teachers, the state has slipped from second place to 18th place. Democracy has no meaning today. People are not being given their rights. If recruitment is not done on the 870 vacant posts, then they will burn their degrees.
