Dhirendra Shastri of Bagheshwar Dham Held Court in Prayagraj in 2023 ?
The court of Bageshwar Dham, headed by Dhirendra Shastri, who recently was surrounded by controversies, was held in Prayagraj on February 2nd. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the leader of Bageshwar Dham, arrived in Prayagraj and inaugurated the court in the Meja area from 12 noon to 3 pm. Approximately one lakh people attended the court.
Controversies Surrounding Dhirendra Shastri
A case was filed against Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri for spreading superstition in a court in Nagpur, Maharashtra, which brought him into the media spotlight. Despite the controversy, the court in Prayagraj attracted a large crowd of devotees from all over the country.
Campaign for the Hindu Nation
During the Magh Mela in Prayagraj, Dhirendra Shastri sought the blessings and support of saints to declare India as a Hindu nation. He appealed to the devotees at the event to unite with Hindus by breaking caste barriers. He targeted Swami Prasad Maurya without taking his name and stated that the country is in danger from cowards, hypocrites and cruel people who harm both religion and the nation.
Support Sought from Saints
Dhirendra Shastri arrived at the Magh Mela in Prayagraj on February 2nd and sought support from saints on the issue of the Hindu nation. He visited several pandals, including one of Nirmohi Akhara’s Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Santosh Das alias Satua Baba, and addressed the people present at the event.
