According to the order issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Delhi Office, Sunil Verma has assumed charge as Chief Income Tax Commissioner Shimla today.

Shimla, August 12: According to the order issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Delhi Office, Sunil Verma has assumed charge as Chief Income Tax Commissioner Shimla today.
Sunil Verma is a 1990 batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service and hails from Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh.
Before promotion, Verma was working as Principal Income Tax Commissioner in Shimla. Sunil Verma has served in different places of India while holding various posts in the Income Tax Department.
