Mandi, 01 August: Wednesday night’s rain has become a disaster in Himachal. The wounds of last year’s disaster are yet to heal and the rain has again started showing its fierce form. Heavy destruction has come to light due to Wednesday evening’s rain in three districts of the state, Mandi, Kullu and Shimla.

At the same time, another body buried under the debris has been recovered in Ramban village of Padhar subdivision. With this, the death toll has increased to 2, while 8 people are still missing. One person has been injured in this accident, who has been admitted to Jogindernagar Hospital for treatment.

ADM Mandi Dr. Madan Kumar confirmed the incident and said that relief and rescue work is going on.
