Sundernagar, July 08: A bike rider died in a painful road accident near a private college in Baggi in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Indrajit Kumar, 32 years old, son of Dooni Chand, resident of Ghanayari (Gohar), who was working in the Purana Bazar branch of Punjab National Bank, Sundernagar.

According to the information received, Indrajit Kumar was going to duty from his home. As soon as he reached near a private college ahead of the baggi, his bike collided with a truck. The collision was so severe that Indrajit Kumar went under the rear tyre of the truck and died a painful death on the spot.
On hearing the news of this incident, there was mourning in Ghanyadi village. As soon as the information was received, Dhanotu police reached the spot and started investigating the case.
DSP Sundarnagar Bharat Bhushan confirmed the accident and said that Dhanotu police station in-charge has registered a case and the body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
