Shimla, July 05: Himachal Pradesh Postal Circle’s Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) Ambesh Upmanyu has been suspended. The Postal Directorate has issued orders from Dak Bhawan in New Delhi regarding the suspension of Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) Ambesh Upmanyu.

Haryana Postal Circle’s Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) Colonel SFH Rizvi has been given additional charge of the post of Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) of Himachal Pradesh.

According to the information received, Himachal Pradesh Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) Ambesh Upmanyu has been accused of financial irregularities and investigation is going on against him.

In view of the seriousness of the allegations, Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) Ambesh Upmanyu has been suspended with immediate effect. Let us tell you that Ambesh Upmanyu has also held high positions in Gujarat and Agra before this.

An official of the Director Postal Services said that the suspension of Himachal Pradesh Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) Ambesh Upmanyu has been done at the ministry level. Now the charge of CPMG in Himachal Pradesh has been handed over to Haryana’s CPMG Colonel SFH Rizvi.

It is worth noting that the Chief Post Master General is the highest officer of the concerned postal circle.

The post of Chief Post Master General is considered one of the high posts of Indian Postal Services. The entire postal circle of a state is under the Chief Post Master General.
