Himachal News: Pickup vehicle lost control and fell into a 200 feet deep gorge, one person died on the spot, another is in critical condition at IGMC

Sundernagar, June 26:A heartbreaking accident has come to light under Nihri police station of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, in which one person died and another person was seriously injured and his condition is said to be critical after a pickup suddenly went out of control and fell into a deep ditch.
On receiving information about the entire accident, the Nihri police station in-charge and his team reached the spot and started investigating the entire case.
The Nihri police station in-charge said that on Wednesday morning, two people were returning from Shikari Mata Mandir to their home in Sojha Baihali in a pickup. During this, near Bhalana village, the pickup went out of control and fell into a 200 feet deep ditch, killing one person on the spot while the other person was seriously injured and his condition is said to be critical.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local people risked their lives by carrying out a rescue operation and pulled out the seriously injured person from a 200 feet deep ditch and referred him to IGMC Shimla for treatment. The Nihri police station in-charge identified the deceased in the accident as Anantram, aged 34 years, while the seriously injured person was identified as Hemraj, aged 36 years.

Giving information about the entire Pickup accident, Sojha Baihali Panchayat head Liladhar said that in the entire accident, one person died on the spot while the other injured has been referred to IGMC Shimla in critical condition.
