Shimla, June 25: Senior IPS officer Soumya Sambashivan has been transferred to the post of DIG (Deputy Inspector General) Central Range Mandi by the Himachal Pradesh government. Earlier, senior IPS officer Soumya Sambashivan was serving as Principal, Police Training College Daroh.

A complete notification has been issued by Himachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena regarding the transfer of senior IPS officer Soumya Sambashivan to the post of DIG (Deputy Inspector General) Central Range Mandi.

It is worth noting that senior IPS officer Soumya Sambashivan is a 2010 batch IPS officer and in January this year 2024, senior IPS officer Soumya Sambashivan was promoted to the post of DIG by the Himachal Pradesh government.

Senior IPS officer Soumya Sambashivan has also held the post of SP of Shimla, Sirmaur and Mandi districts of Himachal Pradesh.

Let us tell you that on 31 January 2024, senior IPS officer Soumya Sambashivan was transferred from SP Mandi district to Principal Police Training College Deroh by the Himachal Pradesh government.
