Una, June 22: A shocking road accident has come to light in Dhusara of Una district of Himachal Pradesh, in which four people including the driver were seriously injured when a tourist car crashed.

In a complaint given to Una police, taxi driver Ram, a resident of Mohali, Punjab, said that on last Friday night, he was going to Dharamshala with passengers from Chandigarh. Rishi, Shami and their 16-year-old daughter Riddhi, residents of Chandigarh, were in his taxi. Meanwhile, when the taxi reached across the Dhusara bridge, a speeding truck coming from Amb hit the taxi from the wrong side. Due to which their taxi turned around and collided with the iron parapet built on the side of the road. All the people in the taxi have suffered serious injuries in the entire accident. All the injured were brought to the regional hospital with the help of 108 ambulance, from where the doctor has referred Rishi, Shami and Riddhi to PGI Chandigarh in critical condition.
Regarding the entire accident, the police have registered a case against the unknown truck driver on the complaint of taxi driver Ram.
Taxi driver Ram has alleged that the entire accident happened due to the high speed and negligence of the unknown truck driver.
Una District Superintendent of Police Administration Rakesh Singh said that on the basis of the complaint, the police has registered a case against the unknown truck driver and started investigation. Soon the truck driver will be arrested and taken on remand.
