Himachal News: ITBP jawan from Mandi dies tragically after Swift car suddenly goes out of control and falls into Nogli ravine
Shimla, June 22: In a heart wrenching accident that took place late Friday night in the Rampur subdivision of Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla, there is news of the tragic death of an ITBP jawan when a car suddenly went out of control and fell into a deep gorge.
Rampur police station in-charge said that ITBP jawan Mohan Singh was going from Nogali to Dayotan ITBP camp in his Swift car.
When ITBP jawan Mohan Singh’s Swift car reached near Sood Plant Mixture at 10 pm in Dayotan, the Swift car suddenly went out of control and rolled into the Nogali ravine.
ITBP jawan Mohan Singh was badly injured in the accident. Another person in the car also got minor injuries and he informed the Rampur police station in-charge about the entire accident.
On receiving the information about the entire accident, the Rampur police station in-charge and his team reached the spot and ITBP jawan Mohan Singh was taken to Rampur hospital in critical condition, where ITBP jawan Mohan Singh died during treatment.
Rampur police station in-charge has identified the deceased ITBP jawan as Mohan Singh, 34 years, son of Tara Chand, resident of Kotli, Mandi district.

A case has been registered under Sections 279, 337 and 304 A of IPC on the complaint of Tili Lal, resident of Duttnagar Rampur, who was travelling with deceased ITBP Jawan Mohan Singh in Swift car by Rampur Police Station Incharge.
DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma said that the postmortem of the body of the deceased ITBP jawan Mohan Singh is being conducted by the Rampur Police Station in-charge. Also, an investigation into the entire cause of the accident has been started.
