Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 12 :Two heartbreaking suicide cases have come to light in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla city and Kumarsain.
In the first heartbreaking case, a 27-year-old girl from Shimla city hanged herself, while in the second heartbreaking case, a 65-year-old man swallowed poison and embraced death.
In both the painful cases, the Shimla police team has not yet recovered any suicide note.The Shimla police teams have taken both the bodies in their custody and are getting them post-mortemed.
In the initial investigation by the Shimla Police, the exact reasons for both the suicide cases have not been ascertained yet.
Shimla police officer said that a 27-year-old girl from Khalini town of New Shimla city has committed suicide by hanging herself. The Khalini police station in-charge has identified the deceased girl as Neha Negi, resident of Khalini. The deceased girl Neha Negi lived with her family in CPWD colony.
Khalini police station in-charge said that on Tuesday evening, Neha Negi’s body was found hanging from a noose in the room of her house, Due to Neha Negi committing suicide, even her family members could not believe that Neha could take such a dangerous step.
In another case, under Kumarsen police station, 65 year old Vishni Ram has embraced death by swallowing poison. Vishni Ram used to do gardening.
On returning home from the market on Tuesday, 65 year old Vishni Ram went to his room, but after some time the family members came to know that Vishni Ram has swallowed poisonous substance and his health is deteriorating. The family took the elderly Vishni Ram to the local hospital, but before reaching the hospital, 65-year-old Vishni Ram had died.
Kumarsain police station in-charge said that post-mortem of the bodies is being done in both the cases of suicide.
According to Shimla police, initial investigation suggests that both the cases are suicide, due to which investigation has been started by registering a case under CrPC 174 in both the cases of suicide.According to Shimla police, suicide note has not been recovered in both the cases of suicide yet.
