Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 31Voting has started today on Saturday, June 1 for the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections in Himachal Pradesh.Voting has started with a delay of one and a half hours due to malfunction of EVM in Khalini, Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.Voters were also seen to be furious due to malfunction of EVM in Khalini.But after replacing the EVM, the voting process started in Khalini.
The most important thing is that to avoid the effects of heatwave, voters believe that they should cast their vote as early as possible in the morning, And the result of heat is that long queues have formed at the polling stations at 7 am itself.
Currently, voting is going on peacefully in the Entire Himachal Pradesh.Voting has started with a delay of 15 minutes at the Model School polling booth in Sirmaur district headquarters Nahan.
It is also being told that a political party damaged the drinking water supply pipe while setting up a tent. Due to which drinking water supply has been disrupted in Mohalla Govindgarh.
The most thought-provoking thing is that even in hilly states like Himachal Pradesh, tremendous enthusiasm for voting is visible among voters since morning.
NCC cadets have also been deployed at polling stations. In Rampur of Shimla, tremendous enthusiasm for voting was seen among women voters since morning.
