Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, May 26A case of theft during day time has come to light in the Neelkanth Temple of Thanehada Mohalla, College Road, Mandi City, Himachal Pradesh.According to CCTV footage, a woman and a man are running away after taking out cash from the donation box of Neelkanth Temple.A complaint of theft has been lodged by Neelkanth Temple Committee with the urban police post in-charge.The teams of the urban police post have started action to arrest the woman and the man who committed theft on the basis of CCTV footage.

Neelkanth Temple Committee said that last Friday, when the priest and other people of the temple went to the Neelkanth temple in the evening to worship, they found that the almirah was lying open and the donation box was broken and money was taken out. After that, when the CCTV footage installed inside and outside the temple was examined by the members of the temple committee, it was found that in the afternoon, a migrant woman and man were entering the Neelkanth temple and committing theft.

In the CCTV footage, the woman goes out and sits and the man with an iron rod in his hand breaks the almirah containing Aarti items from the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and takes out valuable items and also takes away the money from the donation box.
