Mandi: Vigilance took action and recovered priceless pieces of cedar and kail wood from the cowshed of the house.
At the time of investigation by State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau Mandi, due to lack of any permit or license from accused Chandramani, A case has been registered against the accused under sections 32, 31, 41 and 42 of the Forest Act as well as section 379 of the IPC in the Mandi police station of State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mandi.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, May 16Acting on the basis of secret information, the team of State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau Mandi has recovered illegal stock of wood in Deuri village of Sadar Tehsil.
In which the accused Chandramani had cut cedar and kail wood and kept it hidden in the cowshed of his house.
State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau Mandi SP said that the number of windows, doors and frames found inside the cowshed of accused Chandramani’s house is thirty-two and eighty wooden planks have been seized from the courtyard outside the cowshed.A rigorous investigation of the house led to the arrest of 58 rods and three sleepers.
