It is worth noting that former MLA and current BJP candidate Rajinder Rana, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party by cross-voting in Himachal Rajya Sabha elections, had won from this seat in the last assembly elections by a margin of only 299 votes from BJP candidate Ranjit Rana.
Now all the equations have changed and Rajinder Rana, who won the election by contesting on Congress ticket, has now joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and BJP has also given him the by-election ticket.
Ranjit Singh Rana, who previously contested assembly elections on BJP ticket, seems to be given Congress ticket.
The most surprising thing is that the people of Sujanpur vote only considering development as the main issue.
That is why on turning the pages of the history of Sujanpur seat, it is known that in the 2017 assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party’s CM candidate and former Chief Minister, respected Prem Kumar Dhumal had lost the election from Sujanpur seat.
Because in the 2012 assembly elections, he had cheated the people of Sujanpur and contested from Hamirpur assembly and due to this issue, both his disciples Rajinder Rana and Ranjit Rana made their politics shine.
But the kind of success Rajinder Rana got from the people of Sujanpur is unbelievable.
