CM Sukhu: Congress government saved the lives of employees by restoring OPS in the first cabinet.
Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that keeping in mind the problems of the common people, the state government made changes in the revenue laws and organized Revenue Lok Adalats across the state. He said that more than one lakh death cases and more than seven and a half thousand Takseem cases have been settled in these Revenue Lok Adalats.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, May 04:While addressing the election meeting in Nalagarh Assembly of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said on Saturday that The present Congress Party government of Himachal Pradesh, despite the financial crisis, has given the benefit of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) to one lakh thirty six thousand government employees of the state.
CM said that as soon as the Congress Party government was formed in the state and In the very first cabinet meeting, our government fulfilled its election promise and secured the future of one lakh thirty-six thousand government employees of the state by reinstating the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), Due to which today more than four thousand employees of the state are getting the benefit of OPS.

CM said that every possible effort is being made to take back nine thousand crore rupees of NPS from the Central Government. Besides, the Congress government has also paid four percent DA (Dearness Allowance) to the employees.
Attacking Jairam Thakur and Bharatiya Janata Party, CM Sukhu said that when the people of Himachal rejected the BJP, the BJP has been making all-out efforts to form the government by horse trading but the BJP is not getting success.
CM said that the present government is in complete majority and is definitely going to complete its five year term.
He said that Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur is hungry to become the Chief Minister but he will not be able to become the CM.
CM Sukhu said that the Congress Party government has also given a big relief to one lakh sixty thousand truck operators by waiving off the entire penalty and interest imposed on Passenger and Goods Tax. He said that goods carrier operators had to suffer huge losses during the Corona period, due to which our government has taken this important decision.
CM told that he has become the Chief Minister from a poor family and he started politics from the eleventh class. CM said that in his forty years of political career, he has not gone beyond his principles and the only goal of his life is to serve. CM said that the Congress government has collected additional income of Rs 850 crore by auctioning liquor contracts.
