Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Hamirpur, April 30: A son of Ghalera village of Bhoranj police station of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh has burnt his own father to death by pouring petrol. Raghuveer Singh of Ghalera village, who was referred to Tanda Medical College in a critical condition, died this morning. Doctors told that 80% of Raghuveer Singh’s body was burnt in the fire. After postmortem, the body has been sent to Ghalera village in an ambulance.

Let us tell you that on Thursday last week, over some trivial matter, a son of Ghalera village poured petrol on his father and set his entire body on fire.

After that, Raghuveer Singh, in critical condition, went to Bhoranj police station in-charge and got strict action taken against his son Pammu and a case was registered.

Bhoranj police station in-charge said that Raghuveer Singh son of Kito Ram had lodged a complaint that he had a minor argument with his son Pammu over a trivial matter but later the argument took a serious form.

And his son Pammu poured petrol bottle on him and set it on fire due to which Raghuveer’s entire body got burnt.

The family members brought Raghuveer Singh to Bhoranj Hospital, from there the doctors referred Raghuveer to Hamirpur Hospital after first aid. As soon as his condition worsened, the doctors referred him to Tanda Medical College, but due to his entire body being in a critical condition, he died today.
