Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 23: Addressing a press conference in the capital Shimla on Tuesday, the spokesperson of the State Election Department said that all the guidelines of the Election Commission of India have been followed to conduct the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections to be held in the seventh and last phase of Himachal Pradesh in a peaceful manner.

The spokesperson said that out of one lakh four hundred three licensed weapons of Himachal Pradesh, seventy thousand three hundred forty three weapons have been deposited and three thousand two hundred and seventy eight weapons have been confiscated.

While sharing the datasheet, he said that 1350 from Baddi, 4913 from Bilaspur, 5603 from Chamba, 3898 from Hamirpur, 12468 from Kangra, 1406 from Kinnaur, 4653 from Kullu, 222 from Lahaul-Spiti, 7281 from Mandi, 3954 from Nurpur, 12111 from Shimla, 5791 from Sirmour, 3877 from Solan and 2816 weapons have been collected from Una.
