Senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister of India P Chidambaram, who reached the capital Shimla on Tuesday during his personal visit, strongly attacked the BJP on the allegations of the manifesto and said that today people in the country are facing social and economic crisis. The condition of SC-ST and tribal people is worse, people of all religions are committing suicide due to poverty. Keeping all these things in mind, the problems of all sections of the country have been resolved in the manifesto of the Congress Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party is being bitten by ants.
He said that the name of Bharatiya Janata Party’s manifesto is a guarantee of Modi whereas the name of the Prime Minister should not be there and Modi ji should comment only after reading the manifesto of Congress Party.
On the allegation of electoral bonds, P Chidambaram also said that the electoral bonds of Bharatiya Janata Party are worth more than Rs 8,500 crore and no other party except BJP is able to campaign today.
Hoardings of only Modi ji are being put up at various places while the accounts of Congress party have been frozen but the people of India will rest only after the victory of Congress party.
Taking a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party’s slogan of crossing four hundred seats this time, Chidambaram said that BJP is contesting elections on twenty-five seats in Tamil Nadu and twenty seats in Kerala And BJP’s deposits will be confiscated on all the seats in these two states. P Chidambaram said that BJP is not even contesting elections on four hundred seats and is making a false claim of crossing four hundred seats. It seems that BJP is contesting elections in some other country also.
